The Cove

I took Thomas to the cove which is a new water park in the area. It is very much like Pirates Cove that we went to in Colorado.
It was a fun day. Thomas rode the flowrider and was able to get up on his knees and stay on the board quite a long time.
He went on all the slides and we both floated on the lazy river.
No pictures because we were in the water all day!!

The Beach

We went to the beach with a friend of mine that I usually only see once a year. She has three awesome kids! Thomas loves to boogie board and taught Collin and Russell how. Audrey was content to stay on the sand.
Cathy and I were able to catch up and enjoy watching the kids. It was pretty cold but the kids didn't care.
Good times!

Splash Pad

I took Thomas and his friend Patrick to the splash pad. They had a good time and it is very cheap entertainment! $6.00 for all of us!

It has been a while........

I can't believe I have not posted since Easter! Summer has been relaxing and busy at the same time! Thomas has been to basketball camp, Art camp and is headed to nature camp in a couple of weeks.
We have been swimming and I have been scrapping! The only thing that would make it better is if Charlie was able to hang out too!
My sister-in-law and her family just left after a few days here. We always have so much fun when they come. Thomas loves Katie and Angela (his cousins).

Easter

Yesterday Thomas told me he was so excited that the Easter Bunny was coming. This morning he got up (at 6:30am) and indeed he had been here. He even left footprints! He went through everything in the Easter basket and was getting ready to have some breakfast when he realized that there were eggs hidden. He began to look until he found them all. The Easter Bunny hid eggs that had candy in them and Mom and Dad hid eggs that had quarters in them.
For dinner we had ham and Grandma's delicious potatoe salad. It was a good day.

Busy, Busy,Busy

The end of the school year is always a busy time. I have performances, Thomas has an animal project, and we both have testing. Charlie and I are looking at getting new carpet with our tax return so it has been fun looking at samples. Hopefully with Easter coming up I will have some good pictures to post! Time to get ready for the week!

An end to spring break.......

Well Spring Break is over. :(  Thomas and I had a great week (even though Charlie was out of town). We went to Chuck E Cheese, to the movies to see Diary of a Wimpy Kid, and we went out to eat a couple of times. It is hard to go back, but we only have 39 days left until SUMMER!! We can do it!
