Blue Belt

Saturday March 26th was a big day. It was my 40th Birthday (ugh) and Thomas tested for a new karate belt. The belt test went great, they have to remember so much more each time. They were in their test for over an hour! Way to go Thomas!

My birthday was nice.My hubby baked me a yummy cake.  I got some new (Pink) boxing gloves for my kickboxing class, some very nice cards and we all went to Anchos for dinner. I have an awesome family.

Out of the mouths of Babes

Part of the reason I wanted to do a blog was that kids say so many funny things that it is impossible to remember them all! So....Thomas is at that age where if you say that you love something he says "Then why don't you marry it?"
The conversation went like this....
Thomas: I love that!
Me : Why don't you marry it?
Thomas: It's not funny when you say it.
Me: It is too, your just mad I got you at your own game.
Thomas: No, its really not funny when you say it.

Now for the 25 year old.
Justin: Are you really taking kickboxing?
Me: Yes
Justin: Why?....Is there a teacher at school that is bullying you?
They keep me smiling.

Kickboxing!

Yesterday I started a kickboxing class where Thomas goes to Karate. I had fun. I am a little sore today but it feels good. It is at the same time that Thomas goes to his Karate class. I am bummed that I don't get to watch him, but it is the only time that I have to work out!
